I hate deer.

(This was Saturday. Haven’t been driving enough during COVID to keep the dashcam battery charged up and the date has gotten quite a bit behind.)

 I’ve killed more deer with vehicles than many hunters have with a rifle. They are a scourge on Pennsylvania roads. Because humans have almost completely eradicated all other natural predators of deer, they overpopulate like mad.

The stupid varmints ruin driving in the summer. You can’t enjoy a nice road since you have to have your “deer eyes” going all of the time.

I grew up in PA, went to college in upstate NY, then was in TX for 10 years and now 2+ in NM and they have been a scourge on the road in all of them.

does are the worst, the first deer i hit ran across from right to left so i swerved to the right to miss it and I’ll be damned if the stupid thing didn’t stop on a fricken dime and reverse course r ight into my grille! the next one i never saw, stupid thing ran into the side of the car! all does. early one morning on same road a big buck came to a screetchin halt and stood there watchin me drive by

If you look close you’ll see this one was a young buck, but yeah over the years its seemed to me like the does are stupider around traffic.
